Chrome as My Primary Browser

I have used Chrome a lot but i am not a big fan. Firefox always wins. I do have to say that I am using it right now. That being said, I am also writing from a tablet PC I am testing for work.

  • I would like to switch to Chrome at work as well, but the AdBlock in Firefox is just too compelling. I do notice the speed difference when using Google Apps, but most other sites are not that JavaScript heavy, and since HTML pages load instantly, having slightly more instantly isn't very compelling to me just to have ads back.

  • Opera always wins :)

  • I haven't really cared for Chrome that much, especially since I didn't really see any speed gains. Since Google said that's the main thing to use Chrome for, I don't see the point.

When SpiderMonkey comes out and blows Chrome away with a noticeable speed difference, I would have to switch back anyway...

I've only used Chrome a bit for testing purposes at work. I haven't been all that excited about it. Maybe I need to really tear into it to really make a decision.

I do love my little fox running at the top of my FireFox browser though. :)
