Einstein on God’s Responsibility

I’ve read a lot of Einstein’s thought on religion, but I’ve only just now stumbled upon this quote, which I find to be excellent:
I see only with deep regret that God punishes so many of his children for their numerous stupidities, for which he himself can be held responsible; in my opinion, only his non-existence could excuse him. — AlbertEinstein
