Dear Google, please fix the Google Reader issue that takes stories out of focus when you click on them in Safari. It’s annoying to have to scroll through a few hundred items just to read the one you highlighted. This is not a problem in either Firefox or Internet Explorer (shudder):

One of many reasons I failed in my attempt to switch from the bloated memory hog called Firefox to Safari. I really tried for 3 days… but there were just to many issues with Safari, or sites not built for Safari…

PLEASE FIX THIS!! it’s been driving me nuts for quite some time. I’ve searched everywhere for an answer on how to fix it, and even posted in the google labs forums about the problem but it just isn’t getting fixed..
Don’t get me wrong.. I like firefox, but on the mac it just slows down to a crawl, and unfortunately, I have to use it to use google reader, which I’ve become far to dependent on. I really like safari but Google Reader is the one page I’m probably using the most and I just can’t use it there..

I created an online petition here to see if something can’t be done about this :)
