Here’s an idea: let’s have a world news subreddit that doesn’t make you want to shoot yourself in the face. Reddit these days can turn just about anyone into a nihilist in under 15 minutes; it’s fucking depressing.

I agree. We need uplifting tales of humans achieving great things against the odds. We need stories about people helping each other, about good neighbours doing kind deeds, about programs to aid the disadvantaged in our society.
Let’s bring happiness back to Reddit. We all take ourselves too damn seriously. To be honest, we’re fucking miserable bastards. Let’s lighten up.

You’e right, reddit needs to lighten the fuck up.
I think that may be the source of the whole pic onslaught. People are just sick of Redding being an absolute downer.
