Hidden Leopard Features: Mail.app IMAP IDLE Support [Screenshot]

There are quite a few hidden features of Leopard that will appeal to the Linux and Security geeks among us. One that’s particularly cool is that Leopard’s Mail.app finally includes IDLE support natively.

    Does Mail.app download attachments even we you choose "All message,but omnit attachements" for the view offline option.


    I'm fighting with Mail.app on Tigger, it always downloads attachs in ~/Library/Mail/...

  • I did a clean install on a new 7200 RPM drive on my work system, and am doing upgrades on mine and Susan's personal systems. I also upgraded my new laptop (work) to 4GB of RAM.


    This thing is stupid fast with Leopard on it.

  • Did you do the in-place upgrade or did you do the clean slate re-install?
