As I have seen it so far, Core UI is efficient and scaling images and lozenges, but it doesn't always apply a full-vector approach. Of course, hacking this all would be trivial indeed.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What's interesting is that you mention the abilities for theming, contrast with other designs, etcetera. I agree wholeheartedly - the new UI will be yet another thing in Leopard they got revamped completely, and in it's current (very) early release builds for developers, we aren't even scratching at the surface.&lt;/p&gt;
