Oil and coal? Of course, it’s a fungible commodity and they don’t flag, you know, the molecules, where it’s going and where it’s not. But in the sense of the Congress today, they know that there are very, very hungry domestic markets that need that oil first. So, I believe that what Congress is going to do, also, is not to allow the export bans to such a degree that it’s Americans that get stuck to holding the bag without the energy source that is produced here, pumped here. It’s got to flow into our domestic markets first.

IMHO, the commentary was unnecessary and self-destructive. The people who will decide the election are those in the middle and they're going to take these examples more seriously if they're not accompanied by what appears to be partisan-based accusations of stupidity. Just let the clips speak for themselves.

To be clear, I meant the commentary that was part of the video (though I do think that you'd reach more people if you let facts speak for themselves when they need no explanation or pre-assertions).

In summary, "it's the molecules, stupid."

Was that McCain stepping near her? What's that about? Reason would say he should be distancing himself from her. I think he was about to mercy-punch her into unconsciousness if she didn't stop.

So I'm trying to figure out what she was trying to say. I think maybe it would go like this:
Q: Would there be some sort of ban on exporting new drilled U.S. oil, if that were to take place? (the apparent question according to the CNN transcript)

Since off shore drilled oil are both fungible commodities, it is harder to track and it doesn't matter where the oil goes as prices are based on a world wide market. But Congress may try to put a partial export ban to keep domestic demand satisfied first.

It doesn't matter which paper you name - If the answers to the question of Roe V. Wade by both Palin and Biden are any indication to the upcoming debate, I would have to say it's pretty much over....

The move McCain made towards her spoke volumes. Has anyone looked him in the eyes when they campaign together and she speaks? I think he has realized the extent of just how stupid this woman is. That was a move towards her to rescue her from the stupidity of her own words. If she becomes president I think Im going to lose my molecules.
