Ok, So What, If Anything, Does This Say About Liberals and Conservatives?

This is just a Kerry / Bush breakdown, but I bet it corresponds quite strongly to general Republican / Democrat breakdowns regardless of candidate or election.
So what can we gather from this?

I think there is a bit of BS about that comparison. Just take California for instance, the southern part of the state had strong sympathies toward the Confederate.
Anyway, the graph is totally offensive implying that any state that went to Bush is some how favorable to slavery even today.
