haha how is gentoo? Been a while since I had an extra system fast enough to setup from scratch. I met this bad ass Korean programmer (loves Ruby) guess what his english name is… yeah you guessed it “Daniel” …strange strange world.
It was actually nothing more than abject stupidity that caused the problem. The entire update to the latest profile (2005.0) went great, but after running etc-update I borked some stuff up.
Just a flesh wound…nothing to see here…move along.

first thing I do if I have problems after a -uD is a revdep-rebuild as it will go through and recompile anything thats had its libraries change.
