Someone Switching From OS X to Windows

So this guy is switching back from Mac to PC. He actually has some good points, actually, and as with all purely personal decisions there isn’t really a wrong answer.
I will say that his points about the platform being too narrow for developers and there not being enough software, etc., is probably going to change very shortly. I actually have a prediction:
I think the single biggest hit to Windows dominance is going to come in the form of Vista’s final release.
I think there are tens or hundreds of thousands who are looking at OS X and saying, “Wow, I wish I had that….but I’m holding out for Vista — it’ll probably have that and more.”
When it comes out and essentially equates to a nifty new skin for XP, both users and developers alike are going to flock to OS X. Plus, the fact that Macs will soon be Intel-based is going to accelerate the whole process.
Anyway, just a prediction.
