  1. Thanks, this is great! However, what your article doesn’t make clear (I figured it out by trial and error) is that the quick-search remembers the settings of all the controls on the page at the time it’s defined. So, for example, if I go to http://amazon.com and select “Books” in the drop-down, then define a search keyword on the text box, the search will always search for books.
