I think Chuck has proven himself a real champion, yet again. This was not a "lucky strike" either. Horn found himself kissing the ground for the first time in his career.
  • Nah, I agree. I never doubted that Chuck was a badass. I just think Horn is more of one. :) But no, Chuck didn't get lucky, he *destroyed* Jeremy, fair and square. I agree.

Jeremy Horn can kick Chuck's ass!!! He's never been KO'd before this fight and it wasn't that he couldn't have beaten Chuck, he just couldn't see...he called it quits, Chuck didn't beat him, Horn just couldn't see where he was hitting so he forfeit...he wasn't KO'd and I don't see how that was even a TKO!
  • Jim
I am a Fighter myself and a big fan. Chuck destroyed horn I dont care what you say A tko Is still a fair win He would have knocked him out if the fight didnt stop Hes at the top of his game right now And I dont see any 1 currently in the ufc beating him right now.
  • WDL
What needs to be said is that Liddell DOMINATED Horn the entire fight. They could fight 3 more times and it would be the same each time. Horn has no answer of any kind for Liddell's power. They are in different leagues. Every time Horn tried to close the distance or shoot, he paid too heavy a price. Liddell fought a very intelligent fight and simply overpowered and punched the hell out of a very good and very game fighter. Horn should not be ashamed, but he will never beat Liddell.

steve, you are whats called a HOMER! you say chuck didnt beat jeremy because jeremy quit because he couldnt see and that shouldnt be a tko.
you are ridiculous! he couldnt see because chuck was hitting him so hard, so often that his head was about to split in two. let me spell it out so you can understand- if someone hits you so hard that it blurs your vision, he has knocked you out. period.
i know you love your boy jeremy but wake up bro, reality is a good place to live.
  • Jim
WDL can not be more true. Hes totally correct just what I was thinking

Jeremy Horn is a much more tactical fighter and Chuck got lucky that his wild punches landed.
  • Louis
Rob. Do you honestly think think that Chuck trains for 3 months before a fight to just throw 'wild' punches? He is the light heavy-weight champion. His tactics for the evening were, in his own words to 'punch his hand through the back of his (Jeremys) head'. And thats precisely what he did. Every time Chuck saw an opening he threw punches and connected. Jeremy hit the floor on 3 occasions. But in all credit to Jeremy, he got back up. Fair play to him. Jeremy is a good fighter, but he quit because Chuck had destroyed his face. Light heavy weight champoins do not throw 'wild' punches and get 'lucky'. As you well know, they train and train and train. Its comparable to saying kobe Bryant or Tiger woods 'got' lucky when they holed out or got a basket. Its what they are trained to do.

  • I think chuck is the best.I got into it right around randy beating him.I just knew that chuck was the better fighter.I told every one that I knew without a doubt chuck would win against horn and hen did. GO CHUCK!!!!!!
  • Nick
im gonna have to agree with Louis. jeremy is a badass... but chuck showed, once again, that he was the better fighter.
  • Ash
I give full props to Liddell. He is a killer of a fighter. On the other hand, I think Horn is the most well rounded fighter to set foot in the ring....he would be a god if he bothered to get muscled and in shape for a fight.

I caught the fight last night on spike's best of 2005 and I think it is pretty obvious Chuck was the better fighter. Jeremy was doing okay, but the Jeremy fans seem to overlook the part where he is sitting on his ass on the floor with his foot up as a defense trying to buy time, while the ref keeps telling him to get up. He was on the ground because he got his head scrambled and went down. I was a little surprised chuck just didn't attack him with a few more combo's. Because of rules and safety, Jeremy was able to stop fighting. Jeremy knows he got his ass beat, regardless of how the fight stopped. If you don't want blood in your eyes messing with your vision, don't get hit so often.
