Is this for real? Rumors are saying the new iPhone will be announced on the 9th and released around the 18th.
I so hope this is true.

There are so many great phones coming out, I wonder how this will compete. There are only so many tools out there that will buy one so they feel like they are in some special club.

Sure, because the iPhone is just like the other phones, right? If you don’t think that the iPhone is a dramatically better experience to pretty much everything else out there, you either have some very specialized needs for your device or you aren’t paying attention.
It’s that dominant, and the 3G version will be even more so.
