A brilliant piece. It reminds me of a great point I heard the other day:

If Obama and Michelle showed up with a seventeen-year-old unmarried pregnant daughter at the democratic convention, what would the Republicans have said about it? Would they have left the issue alone because it was a ‘personal’ matter?

Really....She's been off the news?!?! For Christ's sake that's all the news focused on for nearly two weeks! What horseshit. If Obama and Michelle showed up with a seventeen-year-old unmarried pregnant daughter, I'd be making sure she hadn't spent any time along with Bil Clinton!

So in retrospect we should focus on the Teenage Daughter and not on the policies of each party?

Nay sir. Obama is doing the wise thing by avoiding these personal attacks. I may not vote for him, yet I surely respect him.
