  1. I don’t know you, but I’ve read your site for a while now. I hadn’t played a Zelda game until a few years ago, when I bought Wind Waker (and a Cube to go with it). I was amazed: I loved games again, and am playing through it for the second time now (and it’s still fun).

Before my Cube experience, I played PC games on and off (never really liked PCs for games). My best gaming times, before the Cube (BC) were on 8 and 16bit Amiga and Atari systems. Simple, playable games, no messing with installs, with great plotlines and abstractions. The good old days. Nintendo gets this, and all of their Cube titles are fun (the Wii ones look even better).

And all of the Zelda games I’ve played since are a blast (even the really old ones), well worth $20 a pop. I’m waiting until next year to pick up a Wii (I just found a copy of Orcana of Time), but I know I’ll enjoy the next Zelda when I get it.

  2. I can’t imagine any Zelda game not being fun. I also think the controllers for the wii are quite innovative — a big step forward from the disaster that is the gamecube controller.

Ok, ok. The gamecube controller was good for some games… but try playing something like Soul Caliber.

  3. i played a Wii this past weekend and it is by far the most unique gaming experience I have ever had. The controls are really interesting and get you into the game much more than using only a standard controller or keyboard and nouse. It will be my next system purchase. I really do think that you will get your money’s worth out of it. AAs for Zelda, LOVE IT! Also, you will have Metroid and Mario Kart next Year, along with tons of other games. Get one.
