Can’t wait. Here’s my wish list:
- Better network performance—especially handovers between 2G and 3G
- UI performance improvement. Typing and contact search lag are worst
- Copy and paste
- Faster backups
- Faster application installations
- Background application notifications (sociolocation services need it)

I have an iPod Touch, and the only thing I really want in the next update is support for compilations in my music library.
I use the wifi connection every now and then to surf the web or connect to my media machine over ssh, but it’s primarily an iPod.
